Hi! My name is Richard, i am 23 years old and i am from the Dominican Republic (Caribbean)

I recently made the decision of leaving my comfort zone wanting to learn how to help others and worryless about myself.

I find myself currently at Cusco, Peru in a volunteer experience, but i have plans of going south to Chile and then Argentina in the pursuit of new volunteer experiences.

I am passionate about the idea of learning and experiencing things like: Sustainable Development, Permaculture, Alternative Medicine, Music Therapy, Animal Care, Vegan/Vegetarian Cooking, Renewable Energy, Recycling, Spiritual Beliefs and Practices (Meditation, Yoga, Tai-chi, etc), Philosophy and Literature

I love feeling useful and productive and I am NOT afraid of getting my hands dirty while working. I considered myself a very social person who is full of energy and enjoys sharing knowledge with people.

I dont fear challenges and I found myself open to new experiences!

I am currently using Couchsurfing because it allows me to meet new people and cultures from all around the world!

Also, i find it very useful when i need a place to stay during my trips.
