29, from memphis, tn (southeast of us), quit work after seven years and have been traveling since nov. 2023.

feel like a fish out of water back home given that i think so differently than the vast majority of people in that part of the country (its the most religious and conservative part, no thank you!). used to live in washington, dc as well for work, would like to return or go farther north to nyc.

just spent 7 or so months in south america between argentina (where i learned to dance a bit of tango) and brasil (where i enrolled in portuguese language school)

volunteered in france and spain this summer to lower costs and meet more folks.

currently in Albania so as to have enough time in schengen to meet up with my folks here in a couple weeks for a central european trip.

came here to Albania for first time back in 2021 and absolutely loved it, have been dying to get back since.

going to asia for first time later this fall! would love to hear your tips and perspective on any time you've spent there.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

id like to meet and spend more time with locals while traveling. also, the type of person you meet on couchsurfing, be it a local or a couchsurfer, are more my type of people / vibe than those travelling and staying at hotels/nicer hostels.

really just wanna meet enjoyable people, have some great food and conversation, and explore the city/town together.
