Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I holiday 5 times a year (way above the means of my lowly academic salary). Also, it looks like a great way of meeting real local people.
Interests
I love dancing (Samba de Gafieira, Tango, Zouk, Salsa, Bachata, etc., )... I like South American music. I'm a keen website developer, but I also love the old traditional arts (teaching myself how to paint recently).

Pop Music: David Grey, Arrash, Coldplay, Frank Sinatra, Ed Sheeran, Zaho.
Movies: Sci-fi, Action, Japanese Anime (but nothing too perry).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Helped organise a trip for disadvantaged kids from a poor area to go abroad (France) when I was at University).
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach people how to get into British Universities (having been an IELTS examiner and a Cambridge examiner in the past).
I organise a ZOUK and Samba de Gafiera dance group and I've also organised a Salsa group in the past. I generally organise professional teachers to take us forward, but when they can't be found I teach some weeks.
