About Me

Put me outside and I'm happy. Put me in an office and I'm bound to start losing myself.

That is why I quit my corporate job and decided to travel for 3-5 months.

At university I studied biological studies, philosophy, and food science. I spent a great deal of my time exploring the outdoors, boxing, and teaching other students about their personal health.

I love learning. And discussing new ideas. So just ask a question and let's chat. For hours if you feel so inclined :-P

I worked as a copywriter for an ad agency for the past two years, but have decided when I return to Utah after my travels, I'll probably pursue something within the travel industry, national park service, or freelance writing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting people who love where they live is one of the most invigorating experiences I've ever had the privilege to enjoy. When someone gets excited to show me the place they call home, their passion and joy is contagious. I cherish that deeply.

I know I get excited to share Salt Lake City and Utah with my visitors, so I'm hoping to share similar experiences with other hosts/surfers.

I place your perspective and your experience above any guidebook or tourist pamphlet.

I look forward to making a connection with you, your country, and your culture.
