Richard Matthews is a professional dancer and choreographer from Lithonia, GA. Richard graduated from his high school DeKalb School of the Arts in 2012 majoring in dance. After graduating Richard continued his studies at the University of the Arts. Richard has performed with Atlanta Dance Canvas, Moja Dance Studio, Georgia's Govenors Honors Program, JUMP Dance Convention, UArts, and taught at many studios. He has also been commissioned to organize performances for Philadelphia festivals, worked as a office assistant with the UArts School of Dance, and is an active Leader for UArts and the Office of Student Life as a Resident Assistant. His latest work at the University's has been creating the University' s first Hip-Hop Dance Organization "A.m.mo" and premiering his forth choreographed work. His outside activities include spoken word poetry, creative writing, theater, musicals, and teaching. Richard continues to perform and choreograph for UArts this season as he works towards his B.F.A. in dance. (2016)

I like most music except for country.
My favorite types are books are all non-fiction which include genres like: fantasy, adventure, mystery, romance, action/superhero, and sci-fi.
