Overview
About Me
I recently graduated with a degree in Environmental Science and Conservation Biology from the University of Western Australia and am now seeking the sense of freedom and adventure that travelling in a foreign country brings :) I'm passionate about the environment and love music, hiking, and learning about other cultures. I'm very relaxed about everything and love freedom and spontaneity in a holiday. I'm up for anything, from a nice dinner in a new area to skydiving or seeing a show!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I booked a one way ticket to Europe to travel during the summer this year and am looking to see the sights, meet the people and explore nature. I would love to connect with the cultures by interacting with the locals. Meeting new people and sharing stories is always a great way to make friends and find new perspective in life :) I've had some experience meeting local couchsurfer hosts in my city and nearby towns through my travels and its been great so far, hoping its the same in Europe!

Music, Movies, and Books
I like a blend of R&B, Alternative and Hip-Hop, but love finding new sounds and styles in other genres. I'd be really interested to see what music is like in European culture. I'm heading to the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland in July and a few other summer festivals and will be seeing some great artists like Usher, Adele, Frank Ocean and more!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I moved to California for a 6 weeks to study abroad at UCLA and it was the greatest trip I've had so far! Being able to stay in a place for a while and really experience the way of life is a lot more fulfilling than a short holiday.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd like to try learn a bit of French, German or Dutch to make interacting with locals a little easier and comfortable while I'm in Europe. I hope to move to Canada for a while some day so learning French in particular would be pretty useful!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my Aussie culture and way of living with those who are interested!
