About Me
Please, one person, two nights maximum. I am not interested in having you stay in a tent in the yard or a van in the driveway. It's a cool approach, I just ain't that into it. Please don't ask because it means I have to respond, 'no'. Thanks. I generally don't expect to spend the whole 2 days with you. I am happy to point you in the right direct or to just intermittently tag along to whatever you have planned, it will just depend on what is going on in life at that point. Over the two nights it would be good to share dinner time meals, usually I'll cook for you one night and the next night you can cook a dinner from your home country/region. But this is not mandatory, just a suggestion to have some down time together as you visit.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As a guest, it's a great way to travel! Getting to share time with a local in any particular region that I'm visiting is a real treat. That being said, I mostly host because I haven't had much time to travel recently. As a host, I get an opportunity to bring the travels (or travellers) into my daily life. I love getting to hear people's exciting journeys and ideas as I go through my day to day working life. It reminds me on a regular basis that the world is huge and packed with wonderful people! Thanks to all the travellers, in particular the ones that read the full profile, request appropriately and continue to grow a community of sharing. For those that bulk message or request outside of the host's requests, you are not contributing positively. I don't intent to make you feel bad, but instead hope to inspire you to think about it from beyond your own perspective.
