One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
a couple of month ago i made a trip through galicia: i had a long bus travel behind me and arrived at night in santiago de compostela. unfortunately the doors of the hostel i booked where closed. it was a windy and cold night during spring. freezing and depressed i find a bar which was stil open. while i was stiring with the spoon in the cup of tea i didnt realize that my salvation was already sitting next to me. Its shape was human and its name was Juan. Juan was a 50years old beach bar owner from Ecuador who was making holidays in galicia. he was a very nice helpful who hesitated not one moment to offer me a place in his hotel-room when he heard about my situation. That was the story how i ended up sleeping on the floor of an hotelroom instead of passing a cold night on the wet streets of santiago.
