About Me

hello:) I'm Richard and I am currently doing my masters in mechatronics - systems engineering. I am located in Ansbach.
I'm very laid-back and open-minded. In 2014 when I have been to New Zealand and Australia I met that many awesome people from all over the world I just don't wanna miss anymore. That was one of the reasons which brought me to couchsurfing

GOAL
Travel the world!

PHILOSOPHY
You will never be completely at home again, because part of your heart will always be elsewhere. That is the price you pay for the richness of loving and knowing people in more than one place.

Happiness is not a state to arrive at, but a manner of traveling!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Due to my studies I am not traveling that much atm, but I am always happy to host someone at my small home (just one room, with a tini kitchen + bathroom). I only got one bed so you can sleep there while I would go for the sleeping bag.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had my first experience in Taiwan with Ben - it was an awesome stay I don't regret a second that I contacted you! We had very well conversations and you showed me around

Music, Movies, and Books

Music
Other people would say I have a a well spread music taste, which means that there isn't just one muisc genre for me.
I love Songs from Ben Howard, Mumford and Sons, Coldplay, Simon & Garfunkel,

Movies
If you haven't seen the following ones it's my personal recommendation - feel free to give me some feedback
Inception
The Lord of the Rings
7 Pounds
96 Hours
Tarzan

Soap
I don't watch that much tv but if I do there is a big chance that The Big Bang Theory runs on my tv. I like the humour of the Soap and how it's delivered!

Books
Harry Potter
The Pillars of the Earth
The Shadow of the Wind
The Da Vinci Code
The Game of Thrones
The Little Prince
“Where are the people?” resumed the little prince at last. “It’s a little lonely in the desert…” “It is lonely when you’re among people, too,” said the snake.”

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a skydive from 15.000 feet despite of fear of high altitudes - just say it was an unforgettable experience:)
