About Me

Student living in Belfast, Northern Ireland. I have recently finished my Erasmus in Uppsala, Sweden and I hope to continue travelling more casually (when time and funds allow).

Currently not offering accepting guests, hoping to change that in the near-future.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined this site several years ago, and whilst I didn't start to use it until Summer 2018, my aims have always been to gain an authentic, interesting and unique taste to the country/city I am visiting. I find the tourist spots (in mostly any city) to not be representative of the local feel to a place and would prefer a local's suggestions on what to see and do.

Interests

Whilst I am not a massive drinker, I think having a few pints in local bars with friendly, open people is one of life's underrated pleasures, especially when travelling.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am listening to music almost always when I have a free moment. This includes (mostly but not limited to): indie-rock, noise pop, dream pop + shoegaze, folk, house, trance.. You get the idea..
I enjoy movies within the (again, not limited to) indie, comedy, sci-fi, coming-of-age, queer, docudrama genres. If anyone knows a film which encompasses all of these, hmu! (joking)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving (in tandem) in Germany.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to talk about my home country and the interesting nuances to life in NI compared to what some people may already know about life in Britain and/or Republic of Ireland.
I am interested in hearing about the political climate of your country and the feelings that people, especially young people, have on their future, government etc.
Ofc, sometimes I just wanna know where I can get the cheapest drink and loudest music. Much obliged if you can help me out 🙌

What I Can Share with Hosts

Does this mean stuff like A/C or more like a witty anecdote about my life? Will fill in later when I know more.
