ABOUT ME
Hi. My name is Andy. I was born in Texas and remain in Texas. I have a thousand passions in my life. Some stick around and others fade in and out.
I'm a golf coach to a group of great middle school kids and, when I'm not doing that, I make a living as a caddie on the courses around Texas.
I have two corgis named Ladybird and Elby Jay. They don't travel with me however they are pictured for interested parties.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I did a bit of couch surfing right after graduating college. I left Texas and drove to Portland looking for a new place to live. I didn't find it but I did find a lot of interesting people along the way.
I think Couchsurfing gets at the heart of what travel is all about: the people you meet. I wish I could host a lot more, but I move around a lot which makes it somewhat difficult.
Interests
I've been playing golf since I was 11. It's basically my life. I coach, caddie and generally help people play and learn to appreciate the game I love.
I also like to write. I sometimes do. Sometimes I show it to people, too.
I'm an open book, though, just ask.
