Overview
About Me
I've been living in Tanzania since May last year. I work on a little island called Mafia and although I started out as a project manager for a marine conservation organisation I've some how ended up running a guesthouse. I love Mafia and I love Tanzania but I also love to travel...
Before coming to Tanzania I lived in India and before that I lived in Japan. Living in these incredible countries has allowed for me to travel to many different places all around Asia and I'm now trying to do the same in Africa.
I like all the usual clichés of music, film and books but it also love to talk about these topics. I particularly like Murukami novels and strange foreign films from directors like Gaspar Noe. I'm trying hard to learn swahili and I love Tanzanian music.
As far as my professional background goes, I'm a graduate in International Development and I have worked in agricultural development for a few years. Although I'm very happy working in a guesthouse in Mafia I think I'll have to get back to some real work soon!
