ABOUT ME
Intelligent, impish, thoughtful, nerd, strong, energetic, friendly sort of chap.
I love to get outside and walk, run, bicycle or throw/kick things with people. I have numerous world cup trophies in streetluge, a kind of downhill skateboarding, and always try to push myself a little more, with the help of my friends.
With a background in media and computers, I'm trying to start a starting a social enterprise, I have two books in the works. Lately, I've become a lot more interested in making fun and useful gadgets and general other hackerspace activities.
My fiction writing is informed by Orwell, Vonnegut, with some post-cyberpunk influences too. Non-fiction it's mostly applied media sociology, aesthetics, taste, and economics! Sounds dry but there are some wonderful things to understand out there.
PHILOSOPHY
Do as you would be done by. And never stop exploring your world. You can learn from anything and anybody!

Music, Movies, and Books
Too many. Dickens, Kafka, Orwell, Neal Stephenson, Charlie Stross, Vonnegut, ... Know my films too. will list more later
Bach, Reger, all the way through Radiohead and up to the strange, beaty kinds of music my friends seem to play a lot ;) Daft Punk n stuff.. I have my American friends to blame for that.
I play piano, cello, and a few other more unusual instruments.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Top of a mountain in the Alps. Always makes you realise your scale.
Racing downhill streetluges, and getting there first. You never think you can do that until you try.
More than one: the most divine moments playing, or hearing the greatest music. Bach through Burning Man music, it matters not. Somthing different about those mooments.
Teach, Learn, Share
Piano, cello.
Epistemologist: come to me for methods in social science. Among other things :)
I can also make skateboards or street luges.
