About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Exploring London and the rest of Europe. Making new Friends :)
ABOUT ME
I arrived in London in August of 2017- I came here for work. prior to that, have lived and worked in San Diego California, Charlotte NC and Singapore. This is where I was first introduced to couch surfing through a friend. I went along with a friend who did and met some amazing people as we traveled through places like Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines etc. I felt as though this would be an excellent way to meet some great people and do some more exploring.
PHILOSOPHY
From what I have seen in general as I have traveled around these past few years - I feel strongly that people generally are kind, decent, and good. We tend to divide ourselves in society based on parameters such as race, gender, nationality, religion, socioeconomic class etc. While that is somewhat inevitable, I feel as though we should all strive to break down those barriers and embrace the human condition by getting to know new people and relating to them as much as possible. Embracing differences should be our emphasis.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I don't mind hosting, and I would someday love to utilize this to get the local travel experience. It's less about cost avoidance and more about meeting good people :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
When in Singapore on several occasions met up with fellow couch surfers and we tut for drinks and nightlife. Honestly met some amazing people doing that, and tried some food I would likely have never have experienced.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to the Uluwatu Temple in Bali on a motor bike I rented. When I got there there were a few groups of locals and some toursists from all over the world. While taking some pictures two monkeys snuck up on me, stole my water bottle and my sunglasses from off of my head. The one with the glasses climbed into a tree, looked down, and snapped them in half. Watching all of the people I met laugh as if it was the funniest thing they had ever seen was truly amazing. I couldn't hep but laugh with them. The moment may seem simple, but I realized that although we all could't speak the same language we could communicate just the same, and that at the end of the day - some things are just universally funny.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A Spare Bedroom and a Spare Bath. I'll have basic stuff for travelers (towels, soaps, shampoos etc). The Flat is in Hammersmith, which is in west London. there are three tube (Underground) lines which are within 5 minutes walking of the flat. Great way to get around London.
