ABOUT ME

I'm a 38 year old from Hastings, East Sussex. I'm pretty easy going and I enjoy playing sports and travelling. I moved to Exeter 9 years ago and married my wife Sarah. We have a four bedroom house just outside of the city.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couchsurfed around Australia and New Zealand in 2011 and 2012, since returning to the UK we've had people to stay a few times. Looking forward to getting back on the couchsurfing wagon.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed with a number of people in Australia and New Zealand who have been kind enough to open up their homes to us and provide us with sound advice for travelling around their local area.

兴趣

I'm into my sport big time, and love playing cricket, golf as well as wakeboarding. I'll give anything a try within reason and have been known to dabble with pool, tennis, table tennis and badminton as well. I love playing my drums although I wouldn't say I'm necessarily any good on them. I also have been know to partake in a bit of juggling (note the bruised fruit in the fruit bowl in my kitchen).

Love all sorts of music but mainly rock. Metallica, Rage Against the Machine, Linkin Park, Green Day, Sum 41, Blink 182 etc.

Generally read Pop Fiction (easy to read stuff) e.g. James Patterson, John Grisham, Stephen King.

Too many great experiences. Three times travelling to Australia and other nearby locations. Nothing spectacular that stands out. Once I saw a monkey being chased down the street in Bali by a market stall owner who he'd stolen something from...that was pretty funny!

Something that was useful when I surfed with people when I was travelling was the sharing of local knowledge. It would be a pleasure to pass on my knowledge of Devon, which I believe is a lovely place. Also anyone who wants to learn a bit about juggling and has a lot of patience I will share my gear with.
