About Me

Currently on my way to Australia for an extended stay, I'm an avid filmmaker who's looking to soak in the beauties of a new country!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When it comes down to it, one of my favourite things to do is socialise with others, either at a bar in groups or watching a movie with a few friends. As an extrovert, I like to put myself around others and meeting new people, so Couchsurfing seems like a good place to do that

Interests

I'm usually down to play/watch any sport, I play video games pretty frequently (Rocket League is my current go to), and board games are a big part of my life. Other than that, I enjoy going on hikes, develop my amateur photography skills, and practice yoga. Still new at that last one, but enjoying it so far!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movie - It's a tie between 'Momento' and 'Liar Liar'. Memento is my favourite with regards to actual filmmaking technique, story, etc. bullshit bullshit. Liar Liar was a childhood fave, watched it all the time with my brother and I could literally quote you every line as I watch it.

Music - At this moment, a band called 'AJR', gotten into them a lot recently, but overall I'd have to go with a local Canadian band 'Hollerado' who stole my heart when I first saw them in concert 5 years ago.

Book - 'The Financial Lives of the Poets' by Jess Walters. Also my favourite author, second to none.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you some cool photography and videography tips, I have my own travel camera, the Sony A6300 so if you want to learn some stuff I'd be happy to help!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Plenty of Dad Jokes (I've heard a lot of the years)

A sense of relief knowing that the person sleeping on your couch isn't a complete jerk, and is surprisingly pleasant and fun. Just check out these rave reviews!
