About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Stop climate change

ABOUT ME

I make theatre work about climate change and Big data an live with my supercool flatmates and their Italian-speaking dog Gigio. We go to art and theatre events, sometimes writing about them, and sometimes music too.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is that I am a force for resistence against various things in the world, and I am here to fight for people who cannot fight and causes which are not popular or do not exist in public dialogue.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host people in our spare room ('Arbeitsraum'). It's just a matress on the floor or a comfortable couch. We like a couple of days notice, it's great if you can look after yourself and have couchsurfing experience, if you're involved in the arts that's probably good too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have surfed quite a lot on my journey without flying to get here from Australia, and also hosted quite a lot here in Berlin. I sometimes make couch requests when I'm on tour or doing work, because this is a nice way to get to know people.

Theatre, literature, art, philosophy, football, psychology. I spend most of my time learning about stuff.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read widely and have seen many films, and right now I'm going through a big classical music phase, but I'm interested in whatever you are enthusiastic about! It doesn't ever firt a particular genre.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visiting the castle in Kamyenets-Podilsky, Ukraine, because no-one else really knows about it!

Getting assaulted in Coulbature, Australia... they sort of looked after me in a weird way (gave me 5 dollars back to get a coffee?!)

Volunteering at a wildlife sanctuary for injured birds in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have specialised knowledge in the following areas:
Theatre, especially German Theatre
Cinema, especially Italian and Australian
Literature
Politics
Psychology
Art, especially Contemporary Art
German History

But that doesn't mean I'm not interested in plumbing or the best way to fold a napkin. If there's one thing travel teaches you it's that you actually don't know anything.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bulgaria, Cambodia, Finland, Germany, Malaysia, Turkey, Ukraine

Countries I’ve Lived In

Australia, Germany
