Overview
About Me
I am an easy going and laid back person, who loves to travel and share adventures with people. I have come to learn that travelling is much more than the photos you share with your loved ones. It is about being outside your comfort zone and living your life, through experiencing the magnificent beauty and kindness the world has to offer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I got introduced to couchsurfing by a friend of mine and found the idea very appealing. I am hoping to get into couchsurfing and connect with people around the world!
Interests
I have a great love for the outdoors and what nature can offer me in my journey through life. This has allowed me to embark on many hiking adventures around the world. The pleasure and beauty to behold after a hard day's walking is instantly worth the effort as you catch the last glimpse of sun light fading over the snow capped mountains in the distance.
I love meeting new people in remote locations around the world and taking time out to listen and share stories of adventure over a hot steamy brew. The world is so diverse and an immensely beautiful place, that not sharing it would be a crime.

Music, Movies, and Books
The instrumental magic of Mogwai and Explosions in the sky are great. Otherwise I enjoy listening to some folk and/or singer-songwriter tunes.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
During my time in India, I had the opportunity to venture into the Himalayas on top of a Royal Enfield. The motorbike grunting below me and the snow capped peaks around me was majestic to say the least. I was mesmerized as I climbed higher and higher into the mountains, finally reaching, what some believe to be one of the holies places in India, the mouth of the Ganges.
Teach, Learn, Share
Travelling is about the journey and the adventures had while on that journey. This allows for meeting new people and trying new things. I am a firm believer that travel is an education in its own right and through this medium we can learn, share and educate. There is not better way to learn about people and culture than to travel the world and listen to stories and adventures of others. We are all teachers and students of life.
