I'm ever interested in learning more about the world, the infinite cultures that exist, to learn new perspectives from people everywhere.

ABOUT ME

Adventurous, passionate and simple.

In everyday life I try to find new adventures like eating a new thing from the grocery store or finding a new creek to put my feet in. I dance in the kitchen when I cook.

I'm a passionate musician and artist in general. I sing all around Ontario and in my spare time tune pipe organs. Sometimes I just have to write a pop song on the guitar, sometimes I must play a Beethoven sonata. I like reading all kinds of books, though tend toward artful literature over adventure novels.

I think bicycles are the perfect mode of transportation and I ride mine everyday, even through the Canadian winter. Walking is great too, though takes more time; driving is necessary at times too, though it never seems to be fast enough. Biking is in the happy place of seeming just right.

Trying new foods and drinks is something I need to do to satisfy my curiosity. I just want to taste everything!

For exercise I like biking (obviously) and squash and frisbee and swimming in northern lakes.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is for growing: yourself, relationships. I believe you should come at new situations and experiences with an open heart, and strive for understanding. And laugh at yourself!

Music is my life! I love playing piano, guitar and singing. Knitting is cool too. Tossing around the frisbee. Pints on my porch or at a pub are always welcome.

Hiking through the French Alps on a New Year's Eve up to a mountain refuge is one of many highlights of my life. The way the glacier sat silently in the moonlight while me and my friends enjoyed a few bottles of French wine is so memorable.
