About Me

Hello beautiful world,

I live in the SW of Portugal and enjoy speding time surfing, growing veggies and following Jesus.
Many seasons with different work are flowing through my life, I spend a few month each year at sea as a subsea engineer, on land I love growing and cooking food for retreats and venues on request.
I love to share the simple things in life, sharing food, playing guitar and singing sitting around a fire.
I'm grateful for everyting God has brought into my life and all its beautiful creation in this world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting new people across the country where ever I roam about.
As I never know where and when work will send me, I'd love to meet people along the way as I often have time off or after work which I spend exploring. Travel and adventure for me is about experiencing the local culture and people and listen to their stories. Everybody in this world has so much to offer. By seeing the place through a local perspective and sharing the experience of being there we are allowed to gain a much deeper and appreciative travel experience. Couchsurfing for me is about sharing and keeping the adventure alive.

Interests

I love surfing more than anything, generally being around the water. I love hiking, trees, birds, permaculture, sustainable designs and all sorts of alternative approaches to life and society as a hole. Sitting around a fire and grilling fish. Cooking up delicious meals. Drinking Tea. Meeting new people and listen to their stories. Watching the stars. Listening to the wind. Living life to the fullest
