About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Getting a dog!

ABOUT ME

I actually fear to write too much about me since I sometimes feel like I just don't know myself. Sounds a bit contradictory now after having actually written pretty much, but those are more like hard facts. I think I'm just like most people, I have my ups and downs, but I'll give my best to be pleasant company.

PHILOSOPHY

We're all friends! But actually I have a lot of opinions which often change, so there's nothing or way too much to write here.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Getting to know people and stuff. And of course finding hosts when I travel somewhere!

Interests

Besides the usual things people in my age like and do, like hanging out with friends, going for a beer, dancing and so on, I love repairing and working on my bikes... So if you stay at my place I will have a bike for you, so we can go discover the city by bike! It's just the second best way of movement right after dancing.

Music, Movies, and Books

That's a hard one, some of my favourite artists The Pixies, The Smiths, Pink Floyd, the old Sia, before she got really famous (I know, that's so hipster) and definitely Grimes! (The new Art Angels album is freaking great!!!) But there's so much more I like... I also love 90s, it's just the music of my childhood that I picked up when my dad was watching MTV... good ol' MTV

I guess my all time favourite movie is Pink Floyd - The Wall, I love the story, I love the music, I love the animations by Gerald Scarfe. I love the film though it seems to have some bad critics. The LOTR-Trilogy is also great, I always feel empty and sad after watching The Return Of The King, it gets me every time. Generally I like movies that touch me or make me think. I once watched The Fountain, till today I don't know, if it's actually a good movie or not, but it made me think for a while afterwards, so I personally liked it very much!

I like Gabriel Garcia Marquez, read three books from him and each one was great. I also just read The Unbearable Lightness of Being, and I was really amazed, I felt like the book was reading my thoughts, printing them on paper and making me read them again, just to make me realize my own thoughts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Does being in love count? 'Cause it was definitely the best thing ever.

Teach, Learn, Share

My mum is Peruvian and so I actually speak Spanish but not as well as I would love to. So I'm happy about anybody who talks with me. Same counts for English. And French, well, I actually learned it in school, but that was three years ago and I forgot like everything I knew.

Oh, and I like playing guitar though I'm also not good at it! So whoever teaches me a bit is very welcome. We even have two guitars, so we can play together :)

I don't know, if I can teach anything, since I don't feel like really being very good at anything. Sounds kind of sad. But we'll see! If there's something your interested in and I might have a clue about, I'd love to share everything I know about it.

What I Can Share with Hosts
