About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To avoid going home, spend little money as possible, and see as much of the world as possible

ABOUT ME

This awesome party consists of two. There is Richard, a young man (age 21) from the small town of Dunstable and a young man from the town of London by the name of Rupak (age 23). We both met each other 3 years ago when we worked in a children's summer camp in the USA in Pennsylvania.
We're both very easy going, and like to joke around with one another.

Rich; back home I used to work for Fitness First as a Fitness Instructor, a Barman, and a P.E teacher for kids aged 18 months to 4 years old. Working 3 jobs was interesting, although I was earning a bit of money, living at home with my parents, following the same routine everyday, and go to the same 2 bars on a Friday night just got boring. So I decided after camp this year I will say my goodbyes to friends and family, and go enjoy myself, go and live my life while i'm young, and thats exactly what I am doing now.

Although my travels have been very limited and my experiences so far haven't been that great, the plans I have ahead of me, just keeps me excited everyday! From little things like backpacking across USA, to working in New Zealand, bungee jumping (pretty nervous about but want to do it so bad!)sky diving, white water rafting, living in Asia, working on a cruise liner in the Caribbean and so much more!!!
Thats just a part of my life, and have much more to say in person, so instead of writing it all down on here I'll save it for the generous couch hosts

So I decided to go travelling!
Obviously I need

Rupak; I was born and raised in London. I graduated from university a year ago and was not successful finding work due to the resession, so I've decided I will travel instead.

I come from a very cultured area and hopefully I find alot more during my travels. I like to think myself as a very diverse individual, I'm the nerd, the athlete, and a laid back guy. I am open to alot of new people and cultures and I'm really looking forward to my travels. I want to go where few have been before.

PHILOSOPHY

Rich; I live my life as if everyday is the last, I don't want to be working a 9-5 job and go home feel to tired to do anything and go to sleep. This is one of the main reasons i'm going travelling, I want to find a career through travelling, i'm not so much as money orientated, sure I would love to be rich, but i'd prefer to be happy and enjoy my life. I want to get back into to studying at some point, but until I know exactly what I want to do I am going to travel and have fun.

Rupak; I want to be the guy that leaves an impact on people. I like to see alot of things in life through other people's eyes in order to see a situation for what it really is.

Interests

Rich; Snowboarding, Computers and computer games (Xbox over PS3!) Ice Hockey (challenge me on NHL?) Working out, Exploring, Travelling, Meeting new people, Experiencing different cultures and ways of living.

Rupak; Working out, basketball, reading, travelling, trying something new, learning new things, dancing, and just socialising.

Music, Movies, and Books

Rupak; I don't really have a favourite film; My choices in music vary, my favourite novel is Shantaram (if you're an adventurer or traveller you may like this read), but I usually like to read social psychology books such as Malcolm Gladwell books.

Rich; Im not really one for reading books, however at the moment I am reading 'How to think like Leonardo Da Vinci'. As for music, I am one of those people that says they like a bit of everything but also complain about a lot of songs to. Movies, i'm a big fan of Adam Sandler movies, the Die Hard Collection, as well as mix of comedy and action.
