About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To do what I want, when I want.
ABOUT ME
I am an educated country boy who exceeds any dare. I enjoy doing anything outdoors/adventurous. I occupy my free time with my Border Collie, Jake doing things that he can do with me like Mt.biking, hiking, rafting and quad riding. My favorite thing to do with friends is snowboarding, watching football and playing holdem. I enjoy good beer, staying out late and getting up early so I don't miss anything. I enjoy working out and doing yoga.
PHILOSOPHY
"If you live everyday like it's your last, one day you will surely be right. So Everyday I wake up, look in the mirror, and ask myself if today was my last day, would I do what I'm about to do today. When the answer is no for too many days in a row, I know it's time to change something. " Steve Jobs
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have yet to host anyone but many more people are knowledgable of this wonderful site because of me spreading the word.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have now stayed with several couch surfers/hosts and everyone has been different and great in all kinds of fun ways. My favorite experience was in Flagstaff, AZ with "Dan the Man" who was also hosting several other people from Russia and California which turned out to be an awesome time.
Interests
I like doing anything outside. Camping, hiking, snowboarding, all sports, white water rafting, rock climbing, skydiving and anything that would get the heart pumping a little faster. I love learning new things and placing myself around people who both they and I can learn from. I take advantage of any dull moment making the most of it either reading, exercising, and just being in the NOW moment. My passion is travel, meeting new people and learning cultures, as most people do on couch surfing. I like the rush of waking up somewhere foreign without knowing anyone at all and just following wherever my senses take me. I feel that I am a true vagabond.

Music, Movies, and Books
Big Batman fan. I Will watch any movie and I listen to all music. I listen to music based on the environment I'm in, usually either rock, rap/hip hop, country, and 60's - 90''s. I've read a number of good books. I somehow always think of the Catcher In The Rye when I think of my favorite book and another by Rolf Potts titled Vagabonding. .
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I hiked the Appalachian Trail which was the toughest and most enlightening thing I've ever done. I also took a 3 month long road trip around the US visiting all of the lower 48 tearing each state apart one by one with mad stories along the way. I've Skydived over Mt.St. Helen's. Snowboarding in Stowe, Vermont. Surfing in Rio De Janeiro. Mt. Biking everywhere I get a chance to. Visiting a lot of the major National Parks in the US totaling 32 of the 58 some being Yosemite, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Death Valley, Zion, Bryce and Grand Canyon,Sequoia and Redwoods, Glacier, Olympic ,Bad Lands, Acadia, Great Smoky, etc.
