About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Be kind to others - serve others as I can - the greatest I find are the servants of all.
ABOUT ME
Some day I would like to make it to Europe but most importantly would like to visit India and visit Ghandi's Ashram and some of the places he walked.
Would also like to visit Israel.
I've lived mostly in Utah, some in Northern California in the Bay Area, Saskatchewan Canada and Thailand.
I love history and prefer movies based on real events, but can go in for Science Fiction or Fantasy to relax. I try to live the spiritual life dedicated to God but am far from being as good as I would like to be. (Like I cuss a little and should be more dedicated and play less)
I am more of a book worm than an outdoorsie type of person. All though I sometimes get out there and huff and puff playing Paintball with my boys.
Doing this Couch Surfing is a little adventurous for me, but it is not uncommon for me to pick up Hitch Hikers unless I pick up bad vibes off them.
PHILOSOPHY
In the early part of my adulthood I sought after wisdom and read all I could about all the philosophies I could for a couple of years until I felt like my soul was drying up like it was in a desert so since then I have pursued a more spiritual path that when followed faithfully fills my soul like cool crisp water in an Oasis. I try to put in practise the Golden Rule of treating others the way I would want to be treated, or the converse of not treating others the way I would not want to be treated.
I find anyone who treats someone else in a way that they would themselves not want to be treated is someone who lives in pride.

Music, Movies, and Books
Love the movie Ghandi and read his Biography and whatever I could get about him. He is my hero and I am trying to walk a path as close to his or anyone like him as possible.
Went on a fast of any music for a couple of years during a time of spiritual awakening. Purged out of my soul most of the Rock and Roll that I grew up with in the 70s that I loved but I must confess Fleetwood Mac still gets to me. I love Radio365 and subscribed to it, and try to listen to music that does not disturb the soul. Radio365 gives me a vast selection of music for whatever mood I'm in.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lived and learned in Thailand and speak Thai fluently.
And my ex-wife of 20 years was a Thai.
Teach, Learn, Share
Hummm, well I have found that fear is like the opposite of faith. It is like "negative faith", in effect fear brings to you the very thing you fear. So when I catch myself fearing something I try to flip it upside down, get excited and motivated by pursuing the good thing, getting the knowledge I lack and it's wonderful to see the fear fade away with faith and confidence increase. I probably didn't explain that as well as I would like but let me just say this - "Fear and Faith cannot cooexist in the same space" one or the other wins out. Jesus Christ said: "Resist not evil" I take that to mean, don't focus on the negative, focus on the positive. Enough said!
