CURRENT MISSION
To elavate Couchsurfing into Culture Surfing!
ABOUT ME
I'm a philosopher of sorts with certain opinions that will take huge facts to undermine. I see no color but I see love & I also see hate.
PHILOSOPHY
* It's futile to look for life on Mars if u don't know your neighbors.
* If u're desperate to sell yo opinion to skeptics just start by saying Winston Churchill once said...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At present I can only host if I have room in my house. My wife (also an avid Couchsurfer) and I run a facility we call Zim Homestay. Visit http:zimhomestay.wix.com/zimhomestay for more details. Unlike Couchsurfing, guests need to pay for the services we offer under this arrangement. However, we do spare some time when we have no bookings to accommodate our Couchsurfing friends free of charge. I also assist with information and tips about life in Harare. Lunch and drinks meet-ups are also ok for me.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have hosted several Couchsurfers from around the world. We have managed to stay in contact as friends.
Interests
I love books. whether it's a paperback, jacketed classic or an e-book off my laptop or tablet, I just love reading. Well I write too but I can't enjoy reading my own work so I just love reading what other writers from around the world have written. I also love traveling from what I have seen in the Couchsurfers I've hosted so far, it must be fun. And food.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once taught an old man how to use a computer for the first time since he was born. The first time he pressed any key he dropped a tear.
Teach, Learn, Share
There is this Mexican fruit salad called Guacamule. Brian from LA, USA made it for us when I hosted him. The simplest of recipes. Just get nice avocados, dice some onions & tomatoes before mixing with the avo in a bowl. Squeeze in a bit of lemon or lime juice then add a bit of salt to taste. Black paper is a good spice but optional. Grab some potato chips (crisps) & use them to dip into the salad & well, eat it. Be careful who you invite for this one because they might easily move in with you!
