Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Unfortunately I will no longer be hosting any couch surfers. As you can see from my profile, I have accepted many couch surfers in the past. It has been a wonderful experience, and I wouldn't change it. The people who have surfed me were wonderful and we all had a great time. However, the many times I have searched for a couch myself, I have not been successful. Is it because of my age? I notice many younger generation folks on the CS website. Many more than when it first began. I couldn't understand why no one would accept my requests to surf their couch. Why are you a member if you don't accept requests, or even respond to one? So, in that vein, I can no longer offer my beautiful welcoming space.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am not looking for a tour guide. I just need a place to sleep and rest for another day's adventure. Conversation is good too but not necessary. I do not wake up early nor am I out late.
