About Me

Hey there,
I grew up in Potsdam which is located near Berlin - it´s a pretty cool town. Since my early years, I´ve been travelling a lot (thanks to my parents, which took me on cool holidays!) and so I do now - just without my parents but with good friends or my bike. I love everything that makes life more valuable. Even if it is as simple, as riding my bike trough our forests after a hard day at the office.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really love the idea behind couchsurfing. To just meet foreign people and stay at their places, without getting used to "unpersonal hotels" and stuff. It is a perfect way to start friendship all over the world, share good times with them and invite them, to visit your place. It´s also a good way, to learn something new about other cultures and their peole.

Interests

I really love to participate in different types of sportactivities, like playing football, running, wakeboarding, snowboarding and stuff. But by far I spend the most hours on the seat of my mountainbike - thats pure freedom. Other things I really like are smashing my drumset, cooking with friends or just have a good time with my friends. Another passion is photography. Right now I shoot with a SonyAlpha6000, because it´s a pretty compact cam while being able to perform on DSLR-level. For me it is the perfect companion on mountainbiketours and/or hiking.

Music, Movies, and Books

That goes from soft, melodic things like "The Do" or "The XX" to heavy stuff like "Between the buried and me", "Architects" and things like that. I call myself pretty versatile, always openminded if someone tells me:"dude, you have to listen to that band..!" . With my band, where I fill the part as a drummer, we do kinda heavy punk/melodic/grungestyle music... or something in that direction ;)

Talking about movies, I simply love every piece that Christopher Nolan ever made! Especially Memento and Interstellar. But I also love classic ones like Clockwork Orange, The Shawshank Redemption, The Big Lebowski and stuff like that.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are some pretty cool stories to tell yet. But really good was a biketour in 2015 when I rode from Glasgow through the Highlands to Durness / Cape Wrath. That was good.
