Cheerio everyone! I am Rick!
I'm a caretaker trainee from Schwerin and want to work with mentally disabled persons in the future. I like this job because I can work with completely dissimilar people and it's pretty diversified. Everyday something different happens. I'm not made for daily routines that repeat itselves again and again. Also I just like most patients I work with. They're really nice in fact.
In my free time I'm enjoying time with my flat mate Sophia or doing creative stuff. I'm writing my own novels for example, but it's great to just lay down and relax, too. I like good conversations and meeting new people, so I think I'm in good hands here, right? :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I simply love exploring the world, even though my time table doesn't allow me to do so as often as I would like it. It's just a great feeling to see new locations, meet new people and share stories about journeys with others.
Also... it's cheaper and more fun than just renting a hotel room, right?

Music, Movies, and Books

Most of the time I'm listening to rock or electronic music. I also like a lot of soundtracks.
I'm watching all kinds of movies, I guess. I don't watch TV alone, so I only do this when I'm around other people.
I like to read thrillers, fantasy, sci-fi, crime stories... a lot of stuff.
