About Me

ABOUT ME

I've lived in Canada, Georgia, North & South Carolina, Colorado, Connecticut, and now Nashville, TN. I'm a fun loving, easy goer. I'm into the outdoors, beach volleyball, snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking, rafting, etcetera. I am a musician (not professionally, though I probably could) so if you like live acoustic music, I can play you a few. I'm also pretty into karaoke lately. If I host you I can show you the where the locals play here in Nashville. I'm not a heavy drinker, but I like to go out for a beer or two.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm always looking for a new adventure, and to make new friends. I love to travel, but truth be told, don't have the budget for expensive hotel rooms, and I know I'm not alone in that. So, if I can help someone have a great time, that allows them more freedom of travel, and to discover a new place, and make some great memories, that would make me happy by proxy. Plus, the idea of having someone (or being that someone) who's in the know about a place can make all the difference in how much you enjoy your trek.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a LOT of different music, Massive Attack, QOTSA, NIN, Keane, Arctic Monkeys, Hozier, Pink Floyd, The Police/Sting, Jeff Buckley, Alt-J, etc. All kinds of stuff, really.
Movies, again, somewhat broad interests: The marvel movies are typically entertaining, instead of individual titles, I will name directors who's works I like: Ridley Scott movies, David Fincher. Darren Aronofsky, Wes Anderson, Guillermo Del Toro, Sam Raimi, Tarantino, Paul Thomas Anderson, Michael Gondry, DePalma, Scorcese, Pixar and some dreamworks, etc.
Books: to be honest I don't read that often lately, but The Way of the Peaceful Warrior books were life altering.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Music, stories, knowledge, I'm extremely handy, and can fix almost anything. Just ask. =)
