About Me
Important information: I understand that Berlin is a great city for partying for many people, but please don't send me a request if you are planning to use the Berlin night life in an extensive way. Of course it's okay to come back a bit later in the evening, but we don't have the space in the flat for you, that you could sleep during the day, because it's a shared room. Please respect that.
I'm spontaneous, open-minded, enthusiastic, easy-going. I'm good at listening and asking questions and I like more the deep conversations about life and existential questions, than about superficial stuff.
I grew up in Berlin and I love living here. After making great experiences by getting hosted a few times, I noticed that I also would like to show people around in Berlin!
You'll find me very often in the boulder gym, I could not imagine to live in a city without the possibility of bouldering. I love eating and cooking and my next cooking-project is to bring my self-made hummus to perfection.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I'm in another city, I remember very well the moments I had with people and not the sights I visited on my own. Of course they are interesting, but meeting interesting people, especially locals, tops it off and that are the things I will keep in mind for a longer time. I was hosted by great, very impressive people and felt their hospitality and now I feel ready to host people as well!
Unfortunately, it's not always possible to travel because of money and time, but I guess having people at my home is kind of replacement in times when traveling is not possible. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swimming in an ice hole on 19th january in Russia when the outside temperature was -10 degrees.
Crossing a glacier river when I made the hiking trip from Mestia to Ushguli in Georgia.
Sometimes people don't have to be part of your every-day-life, but in case of need you can rely on them.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can show you how to make interesting DIY-stuff like your own deodorant just with 4 ingredients or cleaning agent :)
