ABOUT ME

I have kind of been all over. I have travelled over a good chunk of Europe. Sweden was like a second home to me - it felt like a less racially diverse part of Eastern Canada with worse food but better architecture. Their love of beer and hockey made me feel right at home.

I had limited travels in China because I really enjoyed my home in Nanjing, and the nearby Shanghai. I went to Guangzhou and Taishan, but that's about it. Really great times in China; I guess I could call it my third home even though it's nothing like Canada.

PHILOSOPHY

Clichés are inevitable and inescapable, so here goes... life is a lot better when everyone is nice to each other.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can host people outside of Downtown proper, but still on the subway line. The house is a five minute walk from Victoria Park Station.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch surfing was awesome. There are so many generous people in the world. The most exciting part of couch surfing is getting to know your host. I have so much respect for everyone that I've met even though they are all vastly different from each other and myself. It's a great experience. Half the fun of travelling was allowing our hosts to help us experience the place that they live and love.
