ABOUT ME

I am a 23 year old guy. I am easy going and will try anything once. I live in Madrid now but am originally from Ohio in the United States. I decided to take a year off of graduate school and come to Madrid to do research. I have never lived outside of Ohio so this is my chance to see the world! While I am in Spain I want to see as much of the world as possible. I like to see different cultures and see how other people live.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't half-ass life. You only live once, so go see as much of the world as you can. You can sleep when you die.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think CS is a brilliant idea. It is a way to not only provide lodging, but to make new friends and explore new cultures. I will happily make available my place to people that want to see Madrid.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have officially couchsurfed in Paris. I have always stayed on friends couches before though. In Madrid I have hosted many people through CS.

Interests

I like to try new things. Among my interests are traveling, meeting new people, and seeing new cultures. Also, I like to read, see movies, rock climb, and exercise. I love the water and everything to do with the water. Above all, I like spending time with friends.

Too many to list. My favorite authors are (in no particular order) Chuck Pahalinuik, Thomas Harris, Isaac Asimov, Ken Follett, and Ernest Hemingway.
I like a lot of movies. Especially drama and comedies.

Probably swimming with a school of fish through a coral reef in Belize.
