I hope to be a representative of all that is good and just in the American spirit. Would like to leave the world just slightly better off than it would have been if I was never here.

ABOUT ME

I first got the travel bug after a business trip to Japan at the age of 26. Since then, I've had many trips to Europe and Asia. Have traveled extensively around the USA. I enjoy meeting new people from a variety of backgrounds, learning about international food and culture. Love to travel light, and the more extreme the adventure the better.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that life is a great journey and it is not the destination that matters, but the wonder of the path along the way. There is no after-life, so live every day in awe of the world around you. Seek out it's pleasures, it's nuances, the beautiful and the ugly. And in all your actions and deeds, do no harm.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Limited interaction with the community so far, but looking to make some worthwhile connections. Especially available to accomodate people traveling through the southern Indiana region, Kentucky, and Tennessee.

I'm especially interested in adventure travel, and would be very happy to host any international travelers seeking local experience for such things as motorcycle tours, whitewater rafting, backpacking trips, ski/snowboard excursions, and anything like that.
