Overview
About Me
I’m sincerely curious about other people and always want to learn new things. When I’m together with others, my personality is lively and cheerful. But even then, I’m not a night owl - well, I’m German ;) I think that I would be a pretty tidy guest because I don’t drink or smoke.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing to discover the world - not just from a simple touristic viewpoint, but also from the viewpoint of someone who lives in this specific region.
If you are coming to London, write me! I just moved here recently and would love to check out the city with you. Unfortunately, due to the abysmal tininess of my room, I can't host anyone but we could still meet up, I would love that!

Playing piano (but I’m not too good at it)
The theater (If you’re interested, we could visit a theater play together, that would be pretty awesome! It doesn’t matter if it’s Molière or Tennessee Williams, everything suits me. )

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Swing & Jazz, in particular Vocal Swing from artists like Frank Sinatra or Michael Bublé. (Some years ago also Pop-Punk and Metalcore)
Films: Inception, Hot Fuzz, The Nightmare Before Christmas, ... I like everything which gives off the impression to want to be „relevant“ and not just another multi-million-dollar-blockbuster.
Books: Well, since I used to study literature, I truly read a lot and my favorite book changes all the time. Lately, I’ve been reading many classics; „Bleak House“ by Charles Dickens was for example one of these books which really blew my mind! The last superb book I read was „The Goldfinch“ by Donna Tartt.
When I was younger, I also used to read a lot of Stephen King's works, J.K. Rowling, Joe Hill, Carlos Ruíz Zafón, Nick Hornby, etc.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I used to do „Poetry Slam“ and I worked for a year in a workshop for the mentally disabled, which was truly a lifechanging experience and one of the most important things I ever did!
Teach, Learn, Share
Obviously, I could teach you German - but since I also speak English fairly well (nonetheless, I’m faaaar from being an expert!) I could also act as a partner to practice speaking this language. Or why not some chord grips on the guitar or magnificent tips on literature and movies? ;)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’m sincerely interested in other people and always like to make a connection with new people on a personal level. I also believe that I’m a great listener. Furthermore, I’m sure I could give you a feeling of how awesome your life is, because I would be saying all the time „Boah, cool! Radical!“ ;)
