About Me
Welcome...
Update 28/2: people from Ukraine who have no place to stay, feel free to ask my. I have some other contacts if I cannot host you.
Thanks for not only checking pictures and hope you enjoy my profile. :)))
ABOUT ME
Friends describe me as easy going, flexible and friendly and I am never too tired to offer a listening ear or have a party with a new friend. Also I do like to joke and fool around because a smile a day keeps the doctor away. Life is so easy, why do we make it so hard - great TED talk btw.
PHILOSOPHY
- Who does good things, will receive good things
- The thing is to find a truth which is true for me, to find the idea for which I can live and die - Soren Kierkegaard
'Ichi-go, ichi-e': every meeting can be special (cool guy in Singapore)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I like to meet new people and hear about their stories. Meeting people from other countries will give you a better look how the country and their lives are.
So if you want to be "dutched" a little bit, then let's exchange stories about our countries!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
As you've probably seen, I have hosted a lot of people these last years. In so I met a lot of amazing people and really appreciate how these persons have changed my attitude and skills in communicating and socialising.
Nowadays I travel mostly to see or stay with friends I made while hosting.
Interests
Local food and drinks
Nature / animals
Healthy and happy lifestyle
Meaningful conversations
Sports (cycle, skate, 🏂)
Partying at the good occasions
And many more :)))
- coffee
- music
- nature
Music, Movies, and Books
Shawshank redemption
Marley Mowat - never cry wolf
Music....well just about anything, this depends on the mood/setting
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A bird eaten just a few feet of mine....by a crocodile who was in the river where i was swimming (Belize, Latin-America).
Also one of my motto's is "why not", so in one case I hosted 16 scouts in my house to help them in a charity cycle tour.
If it feels good or seems like a good idea, it's worth the try :)
Teach, Learn, Share
*Dutch culture / Eindhoven's sight - seeing with the coolest cycle routes :)
*A personal tour at 'my' old biological farm from my previous work
*Sustainable living / ideas
*Juggling and playing guitar songs the easy way :)
+Also I have diploma's in first aid for small animals, fire eating and several other, hopefully one day, useful ones.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I will always bring my good mood and a genuine interest in you and your country. Also I will bring some typical dutch surprises (no...not those green ones ;).
You don't have to show me around, although it is appreciated. If it's not possible then ok too ;) as I like to walk around alone too and just suck up the atmosphere of the city.
