About Me

I'm a pretty laid back guy from a massive family in Utah looking to explore the world, make new friends, and gain some awesome new experiences!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's cheaper than the alternative (not gonna lie, haha) and it' s a great way to meet new people instead of just hiding away in a room by yourself.

Interests

Climbing, motorcycles, photography, hiking, learning about other religions/belief systems, history, anything outdoors....There's really not anything I'm not keen on learning more about and I'm down with doing almost anything at least once!

Music, Movies, and Books

My musical tastes seem to change almost constantly, but it's never a bad time to listen to Linkin Park, Blink-182, Bob Marley, Stick Figure, or the National Parks, and I'm always down for some T-Swift, Fun., or Simon and Garfunkel. Favorite movies include The Last of the Mohicans, Braveheart, Ran (Kurosawa), Princess Monanoke, and Man From Snowy River. It's hard to go wrong with a good book, but anything by Jack London, Orson Scott Card, Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, Alexandre Dumas, and Shakespeare will top the list while more popular books like Twilight or Harry Potter generally don't make the cut.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watched the sunrise over Macchu Picchu after hiking for 3 days

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always down for a good board game. I've got more than a few good stories to swap from record-breaking floods and giant spiders in Australia to a police chase in Mexico City to a too-close-for-comfort encounter with a cougar only a mile outside Salt Lake City! I'm sure I can teach a thing or two about running barefoot or architecture or literary history (it's more interesting than you'd think, haha), and I'm always up for learning something new and hearing other people's stories

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Mexico, Peru

Countries I’ve Lived In
