I was born and raised in rural Tasmanian, Australia. As soon as I turned 18 I let left the island behind and hit the road to find something, anything, other that what I had. I spent the last of my teens and early twenties on the road living here, there and everywhere - including Europe for 3 years.

After living in Europe for 3 years, I moved back to Australia when I was 24 to go to film school. Making films has completely dominated my whole self up until this point in time. I love it. I also love shooting photos.

Too be honest, I'm a bit of a booze hound and spent most of my time on the road eating, smoking, drinking, people watching and talking to people.

I've always found writing Bio's to be incredibly challenging and end up coming across like a cardboard box. In any case, I'm very relaxed and a very respectful guest.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is the best way to see a new place. I have seen parts of cities I would have never ventured too if it weren't for hosts taking me about town. I love it!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a lot of music. Different tunes for different contexts.

Dostoyevsky changed my life and steered me away from working in finance and engineering. Since then there have been many writers and people that have affected me.

A recent book I really loved was A Secret History by Donna Tartt.

I tend to be drawn towards social realist films. Michael Haneke would probably be my favourite director.
