ABOUT ME

I love meeting new people, sharing stories, and creating new ones. I have space to offer to couch surfers in Portland, I live with a few roommates who are awesome. We would love to meet and house those of you passing through! We may not have a bunch to offer but we will offer what we can; a couch, good company, and a roof over your head.

I've only hosted so far, but am loving it! We have had some awesome people in and out of our house, and I look forward to more.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My roommates and I have hosted a few surfers and it has worked out great! Other than that I am pretty new to the site and look forward to having more people come through our place, as well as going and surfing some couches this summer.

Interests

I'm always up for an adventure, or making new friends. I spend most of my on the mountain snowboarding, but also love to hike, fish, read, garden, skate, surf, go to the coast, jump off rocks, hacky sack, and a lot more. I'm always looking for new hobbies to keep myself entertained.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last winter I had the experience of a lifetime, I moved to Tahoe and worked at Northstar-at-Tahoe ski resort, I was lucky enough to snowboard everyday, and party every night with amazing people. I met amazing folks from all over the U.S. and the world who had travelled to Tahoe with the same ideals in mind.
I have never been more broke, nor have I ever had as much fun! Life is all about the people you surround yourself with. And waking up to Lake Tahoe out your window every mornign doesn't hurt either :p

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn more about gardening, my roommates and I have an amazing garden area that we are working on as we go. If you are a gardener then major bonus points for you!
As far as skills to be taught in the house we play music, draw/craft, skate, snowboard, knit, staff spin, practice spirituality, cook, and much more. Life is all about learning from our interactions, each and every person we meet has something to teach or offer us, and it is just a matter of spending the time to peel back the layers and learn it.
