(I've just recently re-opened my profile here after years, there are so many things that have changed, I don't know why but my old description is no longer there, and my old friends are not listed 😧)

So, my name is Ricky, I'm Indonesian but I've been living in France for years (Lyon and Paris) and I'm a proud Parisian now 😯 !

I'm 21 and I study law and Dutch studies at the Sorbonne

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I do not travel a lot honestly but when I travel, I want to hang out with the locals and feel the atmosphere.
I quit my parents' house when I was 18, then I moved to France, I've never had chance to travel, in fact I've only been to three cities in Europe (Geneva, Lyon and Paris) and that's all! So I want to broaden my knowledge and experience by travelling more often to other cities.
Couchsurfing is great as it allows poor student like me to spend less money on travel and in return I can make myself useful for the host, for example, by treating him/her in restaurant and God knows I love foods 😋

I've also got a side B of me, I study Dutch studies at the university (in parallel with my LL.B) so I like Art-History (Flemish Primitives), History, especially the Holy Roman Empire (how cool!) and Architecture (Art deco, art nouveau etc)

I love foreign languages too, I speak Javanese, Indonesian, English and French fluently and I study German, Dutch, Swedish and Russian at the university.
