Hi Couchsurfers,

I'm a 31 year old Dutchie and I live in Rotterdam together with my 32 year old girlfriend. We both used to travel a lot. I myself did use Couchsurfing quite some times. We like to meet and host people and show them our beautiful city.

We love going out for a beer, cooking, travelling, camping and walking.

For me it is mostly the people who make the place, not the actual places. I did a lot of couchsurfing, not always via this platform, but it is interesting to meet locals or people who are living in the cities I visiting.

And yes you meet people in the hostels, but they are like me new to this place not like you ;-)

Meeting new people, travelling, hang out with friends, cooking, exploring new cities and countries, having a nice whisky, going to the beach, scuba diving and much more.

I love Dutch hip hop, or hip hop in general. I also like to listen to house music, but in general I listen to all kinds o music.

I'm not much of a reader to be honest, but I do like books based on true stories

I guess I don't have a favourite movie, but the movie I have been fascinated with since I'm a young boy is green mile
