ABOUT ME
I'm random... Some might say crazy, but I prefer to think myself eccentric and entertaining. I tend to get along with mostly anyone, and am an absolute social butterfly.
I haven't travelled as much as I'd like to have, but since I can work from anywhere, I've decided I'm going to. There is so much world to see, and I'd like to see as much of it with my own human eyes, before the impending zombie (or possibly cyborg) apocalypse.
Also, I own a blender.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is like a toaster; don't insert metal objects into it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've hosted, tour guided and met random (but ultimately awesome and interesting) people for coffee and at meet-ups and have surfed in San Francisco, with further plans to surf the world!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
It all began when a friend lent out her couch once, forgetting she was out of town that weekend, so I inherited them. And thus began my hosting adventures.
Interests
Music, science, math, physics, technology, learning, languages, life, the universe and everything.
Recurring discussions tend to be life after the singularity and how awesome it will be to choose to be a robotic squid for a lifetime or two; cost effective ways to crash pluto into the sun and; whether there exist more things one can do or more things one cannot do.

Music, Movies, and Books
The internet is simply not large enough to contain a holistic list, so I'll just name a few...
Music: Sneaker Pimps, Massive Attack, La Roux, Thievery Corporation, Our Lady Peace, Death Cab for Cutie.
Movies: Run Lola Run, Go, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind, Finding Nemo
Books: Snow Crash, Diamond Age, Ringworld and anything Dr. Seuss.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I published a terrible book. Well, more accurately, I wrote a computer program that wrote a terrible book for me; then I published it.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you want to learn Python, JavaScript or how to set up your wireless router, no problem. I can also make french toasted banana bread that I think is scrumptious.
I crave languages, especially Español, 日本語 and 汉语 if you'd like to share a few expressions, grammatical abnormalities or vocabulary.
Countries I’ve Visited
China, Costa Rica, Peru, Singapore, United States
