About Me
My name is Cao Ruikun, or you can call me Rico :) I am 21 years old. I come from Shanghai, China and my major is International law. Now I'm in an exchange program in Leiden University for one semester.
I am an open-minded person and easy-going. I am polite and am happy to accept different opinions.
It's my first time I came to Europe and I experienced a totally culture shock at the beginning. But I believe that, it is the differences of culture that is the charm of communication. Leiden University is a great international university and I met many exchange students from other European countries. We talked a lot and I really appreciate their attitudes towards lives.
I love travelling and went to lots of places in China. I went to Taiwan, Tibet, Beijing and so on.I like indulge myself in the beautiful view ,escape from my difficult courses and have a rest.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like meeting new people and share interesting stories. Travelling for me is not only seeing famous attractions but also experiencing local people's lives. I think It's the best way to know and feel a different culture. I love to try new things and new food and I am good at cooking Chinese food by the way.
When I went Brussels with my friend, she found a host there. Her host took us around the city and told us a lot of funny things about him and the city. We had a wonderful memory with him and became friends. So I want to be a member of couchsurfing and explore new things with new friends.
Looking forward to seeing you, my future friend!
