Overview
About Me
Hi there! My name is Rico, an Indonesian currently living in Japan as Master student.
I am an easy-going, open-minded person. I can accept any kind of personalities to connect with me, as long as no one forcing things to me. I loves trying new things, which is why I'm travelling, exploring how life is happening on the side I've never been to. Interacting with people with different perspective and background, I believe it will open my own perspective and learn more about how people are.
I also love eating! I always try the traditional food whenever I'm travelling, and I know the locals know just the best one.
Though my interest always expand whenever I try new things, currently I stop at mountaineering, photography and cooking, which I enjoy so much! (still a newbie though lol)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am eager to expand my connection with people from many countries, especially the countries I am visiting. I am trying to travel more and more, but at the same time saving as much as possible, and Couchsurfing provide just the service for that. Moreover, making new connection with fellow traveler is an interesting experience, and I'd love to try it.
I am new here, so I'd love to get advice, tips & tricks from you, for future travelling and hosting.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love pop, jazz, countries, instrumental music. I can enjoy any kind of songs, so I'm not really picky in this. I just love music in general.
For movies, action genre is what I like the most, either fiction or sci-fi. I am also into Japanese anime and manga, and I actually read comic and watch anime a lot more than any other movies or books. But I'm game to try watching any kind of movie.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Doing my first Couchsurfing in Seoul, South Korea. It was the first time I dared myself to stay with a complete stranger, without thinking about what might happened. I expected good things though, and that was what happened! Now I am looking for more Couchsurfing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm not so good with teaching, haven't found anything I'm so good at that I can teach it to somebody. I love exchanging words though, and I can help giving tips for life issues perhaps. I can also teach Bahasa Indonesia if you are interested. I am more into learning, about people's perspective, life experience, perhaps love, which I think I need now.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to exchange experience about travelling, hobbies, and culinary. I am an open person, but usually I put some restriction until we can build trust with each other, well a couple glass of alcohol will surely be enough for that lol. I am more of a listener, but I can also talk a lot when it comes to sharing experience. I can talk and discuss about many things, and appreciate to any kind of opinion or point of view.
