I believe in understanding a place from the local citizen's perspective and couchsurfing is the best way to get to know the soul of a place. It is more than just a method to save money on lodging; it is an opportunity to make true connections with individuals from all walks of life, with people belonging to a completely different culture from mine. Music, Movies, and Books

Music is something that brings peace to my being, helping me relax. Being an Indian, I prefer classic Bollywood melodies and ghazals. But I also enjoy dancing to rock music, anything with satisfying beats.

I enjoy watching tragic romantics where I can cry my heart out. Fault in My Stars has remained my favorite book and movie for years. But my favorite watch recently has been Pakistani dramas apart from Hollywood sitcoms, anything that can lighten my mood after a stressful day.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Embarking on a journey that took me more than 8,000 kilometers away from home, where I found myself in an entirely foreign city, armed only with basic knowledge of the local language, has been nothing short of a remarkable adventure—one that has profoundly shaped my perspective on life and the world.
