ABOUT ME

I am constantly reminded that I am tall. By friends, family and complete strangers. I float on the winds of life. Like a 2m 100kg butterfly. I cook well and sometimes for money. I like making delicious coffee with the pretty patterns on top but I prefer to drink spicy chai. I am playful and can be silly: don't hold this against me. However silly I can (and will) be; kindness; compassion; and love are three virtues I hold dear. I don't have a glut of friends but the friends I have I love and love me. I am a belly personality. A 9 on the enneagram. A Peace Maker. Things need to feel right in my gut before I let my guard down otherwise I will get all introvert and passive (yuck). I can take a lot of motivation to get going but i build up lots of momentum. I appreciate logic, patience and second chances. I like to be creative to sing, and strum and pick. I really like instagram. I was raised a folky and as such have a love of live performance and audience participation. I am super grateful to have Melanie in my life, my love for her is an astronomical phenomenon.
The best times of my lives have involved lying down in unlikely places. Conversations under a Giant wicker chicken, on tops of mountains, half on the shore half in the breaking waves, the Bakery floor, near a mountain spring kms from anyone, in a bathtub surrounded by horses, under the stars in the frost on a minus 15 degree night, the floor of a train, in a hammock in a tree above Byron Bay's resident drunks, high mountain precipices and the Couches, oh the Couches. I am new to Couchsurfing but I am no stranger to Couches. Couches are places of respite, camaraderie, ceremony, erlebnisse, inspiration, satiation, titillation, savoir-faire, intercourse and surfing...

PHILOSOPHY

Smile, be kind, be tolerant leave a place better than you found it, money is a means to an end not an end, don't pee in the bath, learn from babies: make faces at adults, the triangle is a noble instruments. We are all compromised; lets be better consumers than we were yesterday. Sing everyday. be grateful. Slow down! Breath consciously. Smile

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Play a Saxophone solo to a sold out audience in the Sydney opera house. Been at the wedding of six of my closet friends. walked through the mcdonald ranges in the rain (alice springs) protested bad government decisions and thought less corporation mistakes. Ive swum with dolphins held wild snakes. Spent an afternoon with one of australiaa greatest and most contentious prime minister Gough Whitlam. Ive fallen in love.

I know plenty of basic culinary skills, knife skills, flavor matching, baking tips, bread making. I know some good jokes and plenty of bad ones.I can punch out a tune on the guitar but find it hard to finish a tune or play in time.
