About Me
Hi! Thank you so much for taking your time on viewing my profile : )
- What I am -
I am currently an exchange student in Sweden.
I grew up in the Philippines but now I live in Japan.
I am a traveler, so it may be difficult for me to host due to the schedule but if i have the chance, i would love to! :D
- Who I am -
I guess the word "happy" best describes myself : )
I am very happy to meet new people,
i'd LOVE to hear all your stories and experiences.
But i'm sorry if i may annoy you for asking so many questions. haha
I am optimistic, open-minded, and honest.
I always try to put myself on others' shoe to understand better.
The simplest and the littlest things are what make me happy the most.
Especially when seeing and making people happy are the best : )
People say i am very predictable because of how im expressive of my emotions but unpredictable of my actions because i can become crazy "sometimes". lol.
I smile and laugh a lot, like loud and clear. haha
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet the local people, ofcourse! I believe that no one could tell you about the place better than the people who have been living there : )
To learn different stories of life.
Meet new people. To be able to see the world from different perspectives.
I have always used hostels but my friend recommended me to try Couch Surfing.
To me, joining CS has been one of the best decisions i made in my life.
I met so many inspirational people through CS,
it is just amazing how you were once a stranger but becomes a part of your lives with a snap! I dont think i could go back to using hostels anymore. haha.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am quite open to music, movies & books.
MUSIC: from modern music such as Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Norah Jones, and etc. to classical music, party music, reggae, jazz. i love them all :)
MOVIES: i always prefer true-to-life stories because it gives me inspiration in life such as The Pursuit of Happyness, The Blind Side, The Intouchables, and many more. But ofcourse i also love watching fiction movies too like Amelie, every Nicholas Sparks' work, etc. :)
BOOKS: i often read books written/based on the bibliography/experiences of people because it is interesting to know how they achieved success/happiness in life.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When the first time i experienced sauna in Sweden.
It was a clear blue sky, we arrived in the sauna place just before the sunset. While we were walking across the narrow bridge, the sun was shining bright and warm, i can see the clear waters, swans everywhere, it was very relaxing and calm. We had a cup of tea and a cake in this cute little restaurant and we just sat there by the wide window, watching the sun to set. As the sky went from yellowish color to orange, to red and then to slowly become violet then black, we were just there, having our moment. We also ate seafood soup (one of the best soups i ever ate!) while having long different conversations. Then this sauna. OH. MY. You can see the stars up in the dark wide sky from the windows. Away from the city, in the middle of the sea, it is just you and the beautiful night sky in a 90 degrees room. Not to mention, we swam in the cold cold COLD water!! It was really refreshing and soothing, definetely a MUST try when you go to Sweden (although Finnish people probably love sauna than Swedish. haha ). And im sure the "amazing" things are yet to come!!!!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach Japanese and Filipino, the food, language and the culture. I can share my little knowledge about photography (sorry im not professional but i just love photos), and editing videos. We can learn ukelele together? haha. I may not be the person who knows almost every thing like what is happening around the world, but i am very curious, open-minded and i would love to learn from you :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I assure the hosts that I am kind of a person that tries her best to be not a burden to others. I am not picky, loud, nor dirty. I understand how the hosts can be worried and uncomfortable especially when accepting strangers like me, so you have my full respect, and I am open to anything. But it would mean a LOT to me to be able to meet you, know you more, and have a blast of fun with you! : )
