About Me

Hi! I am a food-lover who loves exploring, discovering the world, meeting new people and sharing stories and experiences. Music, arts, and nature are some essential parts of my life:) The time I spent at the National Gallery and Btirish Museum in London was my favourite part of my time there...I love feeling the good and old atmosphere of the place- the richness of its culture and history.

I am really excited to see what the life brings to me next, and make the best out of it and learn to grow from experiences.

*Never forget to be true to yourself
*Appreciate nature, other people, and yourself
*We are all one
*Everything happens with a reason
*Always keep a good balance of self-respect and respect to others
*Be in the present
*Alto astral! (Good vibes in Portuguese)
*You are as happy as you choose to be, so...
*Don't worry, be happy :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I'm traveling, I love meeting local people and experience local life in that country- I think couchsurfing is one of the best ways to experience that:) I just joined this CS community recently as I am traveling around Europe (which was one of my dreams) for the summer! I am very excited to see what this CS experience would be like to me, and get to know wonderful people like you!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music, movies, and books are very important part of my life...I love listening to all kinds of music, but especially soul music, jazz, bossa nova, ska, blues and reggae :)

My favourite movies so far are: Stand by me, The shawshank redemption, Blues brothers, Life is beautiful, Before sunrise, Populaire, Sunflower, Back to the future, Invictis, The broken circle breakdown, The intouchbles...and many more!

The books I have read and currently reading: O Alquimista, The handmaid's tale, Lullabies for little criminals, The old man and the sea, The four agreements, Frankenstein and I am Malala is the one I am reading right now!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Working with children aged between 3 - 5 years old in a small town called Castlegar, Canada for over two years was one of the most amazing things I've ever done. They are so creative, fun, loving, and open-minded. Their imagination always surprised me! I learned so much from them.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am such a curious person, so I love learning new things, different culture and new languages. If you could teach me how to cook your traditional food, i would very much appreciate! Also I love sharing dreams and travel experiences, Japanese and Canadian culture with people- I am pretty good at making sushi, so if you are a sushi-lover, I might be able to make you even more smile;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Fun, laugh, Japanese and Canadian culture, my travel experiences and some deep conversation about life... I can cook a meal for you or cook it together! I also love music- singing and dancing (not professional but my very own style), so I can share the fun time with good music!

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, England, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
