Overview
About Me
I'm a musician born and raised in Regensburg. I live together with 6 amazing people and even more instruments in the heart of the city. There's always a place here for you to stay.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Give and take is such a basic concept of co-living and it also applies here. Do onto others as you wish to be treated yourself. If something as simple as that can help connect the world, why not just do it? :)
Interests
First and foremost, I hate to describe myself, but bare with me.
I enjoy straying around, because eventually everything else is gonna get interesting automatically. All you need is a good start and some positive input. I enjoy travelling on my own, but I'm also really keen on socializing with like-minded people :) I love to get to know different aspects of people's life and culture, their point of view and how other people around the world cope with philosophical or spiritual questions and problems.
I make lots of music, together with my band and a few hobby-projects, so musicians are always especially welcome.
Also, I know how it is travelling with no plan (or Internet), so don't worry about making your last-minute request as personal as possible, I just want you to scroll through the profile once so there won't be any unpleasant surprises. That's why I hid a codeword at the very end of my profile. If you use it, you're excused for not writing something super-personal ;)
If I have the time I'll be happy to show you around, but otherwise please don't expect me to be your babysitter, I expect some degree of knowing-what-to-do-with-yourselfiness, even (or especially) if you're a solo traveller.
BTW: We're 420 friendly.

I like all kinds of music, but Reggae is what I feel most. I like Jazz, Blues and Psychedelic Rock, but there are many types of music I appreciate. Also, there are many breath-taking musicians there nowadays which in my opinion get way to little attention.
Concerning books I don't even know where to start, as there are so many I really like. Anyway, Hesse is great, Rafik Schami, Coelho, Camus, Sartre, and so many more!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being part of building a camp right by the river in the middle of our town entirely made out of used stuff and wood, that a storm had broken. It grew and grew, and soon this "Paradise1" as we called it was famous all over town for giving everyone the right to enter, work, enjoy and shape the things that were around. A great community experience I still can't describe properly.
