ABOUT ME

I am a curious person about almost everything and I like to learn. I grow up in Ankara and luckly had a good community surrounded by artists, musicians, travelers and scientists and Iearned a lot from them. I have studied physics and then finished a master about renewable energy sciences and now a PhD... For some years I have been living in Istanbul, working as a researcher in a University, researching about sustainable energy sources and sunstainable buildings. I like running, biking, walking, photographing, listening the city and playing some instruments. I am again lucky that I am surrounded by people like I had Ankara, so I keep learning from them.
I am quite interested in music, photography, literature, languages, history, anthropology, travelling, nature.
Recently, I am very curious about the surrounding zones of Anatolia including Balkans, Caucasians and Middle East. The languages, history, music, culture, cuisine and all interactions between them amaze me.

PHILOSOPHY

I prefer to say "folks" instead of "nations". We should meet and see how close we are to each other. Nowadays, to avoid, to hate people is the easiest behaviour....

I have heard about CS from a friend long time ego and after first experience, I just wanted to meet more travellers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was hosted in Thessaloniki, Athens, Beograd and Novi Sad. And I have host some friends from Serbia, France, Spain, Iran, German and Estonia. And i met with such great people. Now I have great friends and even families in each city...

Interessen

I love Music, which helps you to discover the secrets of this world, it connects people and nobody can destroy this connections. I play guitar, bass guitar, and I try to play kemençe (lyra from black sea region).

I love reading, books are the outside of the window and they always help.

I like to play football and basketball, it comes from childhood, we didnt have something to do better than these games. Recently I am running and I want to finish a Marathon soon...

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I like lately "world music". ( I dont still dont understand why it is called world music). I like middle east, anatolian, balkan, black sea region(turkish, greek, armenian, georgian,) italian, arabic and african music
I like Rock music, especially 70's are the best period for me. I like physicadelic rock, electronik, jazz, electronic Jazz, Fusion and etc etc..

I like to read about philosophy. I read turkish literature and I try to find the books from neighbore literatures like from balkans and middle-east. I love history books especially from middle ages and modern times.

I like especially europian cinema and balkan cinema...

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I can teach physics and math:) languages that I can speak, maybe some music...I'd like to teach, anything I can...Teaching is the best way of learning...
