Moved to SF about a year ago now. Long enough to know my way around but not long enough to have lost the felling of joy that comes with living in a new city! I'm was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. Another city by a bay however, it is far from charming. Despite the fact that the city's slogan is "Charm City" ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While living in Costa Rica for a Spanish immersion program I volunteered to build housing for a community of illegal Nicaraguan's. The experience was both disheartening and inspiring. It was difficult to witness family's living in such a way. However, despite the leaky roof's and the dirt floor they were all positive and happy. All in all the experience truly helped me reevaluate what it is thats really important in life.
